Frequently Asked Questions
When selecting an organic mattress, your personal sleeping habits should always come first. A mattress containing materials such as horsehair or coconut fiber (coir) may not necessarily be suitable for you. The quantity of these materials, the comfort they provide, and how they are combined all play a crucial role. In our WellMatt organic mattresses, natural materials with varying densities and thicknesses are used, and each model offers a distinct comfort structure. All you need to do is take 5 minutes to consult with our sleep advisors.
Our organic mattresses offer the following advantages:
- Provides optimal support for your body pressure
- Offers double-sided usability
- Creates a fresh and breathable sleeping environment thanks to organic materials
- Keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer
- Unlike standard foam and fiber mattresses, it has a non-sweating structure
- Can be used for many years without deformation
The health benefits of organic materials have been known and passed down for generations. One of the most well-known advantages of materials such as horsehair and coconut fiber is their natural structure and built-in air channels, which help keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Mattresses containing horsehair are among the most commonly recommended models in Europe for people with rheumatic conditions. All natural mattress materials are treated with heat and washing processes, making them resistant to bacteria. For all these reasons, the use of organic mattresses is steadily increasing.
Our organic mattresses begin production as soon as your order is received. On the first day, each layer — such as pocket springs, coconut fiber, horsehair, latex, cotton, and wool — is individually hand-tacked and assembled. The assembled components are then left to rest for one day to remove any dust from production. On the third day, the stitching process with the outer fabric begins, and the mattress is carefully tufted to compress the natural materials. This ensures proper density and helps prevent future sagging or deformation.
You can choose WellMatt organic mattresses if:
- You are not satisfied with your current spring or foam mattress
- You experience sweating during sleep
- You wake up frequently during the night without reason
- Your back, neck, or joint pain has increased
- You have allergies
- You value a natural sleeping environment
After all, we spend one-third of our lives in bed, and the remaining two-thirds is shaped by the quality of rest we get.
